Third-Party Notices / Open Source Licenses

GridFall AI LLC (“GridFall AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) includes certain third-party and open-source software components in connection with its products.

These components are distributed under their respective license terms. GridFall AI LLC does not claim ownership of these third-party components, except with respect to any original GridFall AI branding, packaging, documentation, and proprietary materials that may accompany them.

1. Overview

GridFall AI includes third-party open-source software and related components that help enable local, offline operation of the product.

These third-party components are provided subject to their own applicable license terms. Nothing in GridFall AI’s own policies, terms, packaging, or documentation is intended to replace, limit, or override the license rights and obligations that apply to those third-party components.

2. Included Third-Party Components

GridFall AI may include, use, bundle, or rely on components such as:

  • koboldcpp — local large language model inference engine
  • llama.cpp — core C/C++ inference library used by koboldcpp
  • Qwen2.5-7B-Instruct model weights
  • Inno Setup Compiler — installer build tool

Additional third-party or open-source components may also be included where applicable.

3. Distribution and Execution Context

GridFall AI may be provided or used in different forms, including:

  • execution directly from removable media, such as a USB drive
  • execution from a locally installed copy created by an installer provided by GridFall AI LLC

In all cases, the third-party components included with or used by GridFall AI remain governed by their original license terms.

The method of execution, installation, or packaging does not alter, replace, or supersede the licensing terms of those third-party components.

4. No Claim of Ownership

GridFall AI LLC makes no claim of ownership over third-party open-source software, model weights, libraries, frameworks, or tools included with or used by the product, except to the extent that separate proprietary materials created by GridFall AI LLC are clearly identified as such.

All rights, title, and interest in third-party components remain with their respective owners, authors, or licensors.

5. Full License Texts

Where required or appropriate, full license texts for applicable third-party and open-source components are provided separately in the accompanying Open Source Licenses document.

Users should review those license texts for the complete terms governing use, copying, distribution, attribution, disclaimers, and other applicable rights and obligations.

6. Separate License Terms Control

Each third-party component is governed by its own license.

If any provision of GridFall AI’s own terms, notices, or documentation appears inconsistent with an applicable third-party open-source license, the applicable third-party license shall control with respect to that third-party component, to the extent required by law.

7. Third-Party Trademarks

Any third-party names, product names, trademarks, or project names referenced in connection with GridFall AI are the property of their respective owners.

Reference to any third-party project, tool, or component does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation unless expressly stated.

8. Availability of Notices

Third-party notices and open-source license information may be provided:

  • in product documentation
  • in packaged legal materials
  • on the website
  • in a separate Open Source Licenses file or document included with the product

GridFall AI LLC reserves the right to update these notices from time to time to reflect changes in included components, legal requirements, or product packaging.
